TRIPOND Liquid Pond Liner is a black, one-component sealing coating for seamless waterproofing of garden ponds and comparable basin surfaces. The liquid pond liner is suitable for prepared substrates made of concrete, stone, and metal and can be applied by brushing, rolling, or airless spraying.
Once completely dry, the coating forms a robust, smooth, and easy-to-clean surface. For a reduced drying and curing time, TRIPOND liquid pond liner can be processed with the appropriate TRIPOND hardener.
Substrate, basin shape, connection areas, negative water, layer build-up and drying time all influence the result of a liquid pond seal. Aqualogistik will gladly assist you in selecting the appropriate system components for your project.

TRIPOND Pond Liner Liquid is a black, one-component, bitumen-like sealing coating for garden ponds and similar basin surfaces. The material is applied directly to the prepared substrate and, once completely dry, forms a seamless, water-neutral seal.
The liquid pond liner is particularly suitable for basin shapes, connection areas and substrates where conventional liner installation would be more complex. It adapts to different substrate shapes and can be used on suitable mineral or metallic surfaces such as concrete, stone and metal.
For a durable result, careful surface preparation, a suitable primer, and multi-layer application are crucial. The application typically takes place in three working steps after priming. The previous coat must be completely dry before the next coat is applied.
For projects with increased curing and resistance requirements, processing in combination with TRIPOND Pond Liner Hardener liquid can be beneficial.
The exact scope of delivery depends on the selected version. Universal thinner, TRIPOND hardener for pond liner (liquid) and TRIPOND universal sealant and adhesive must be planned separately if required.
The following information will assist in the planning and processing of TRIPOND liquid pond liner. The current container labelling, safety data sheet, and operating instructions remain authoritative.

TRIPOND liquid pond liner should only be applied to dry, clean, solid, and load-bearing surfaces. Damp, loose, oily, greasy, dusty, or non-load-bearing surfaces are not suitable for direct application.
For concrete pools, a watertight WU-concrete with a minimum thickness of 10 cm is recommended. Masonry pools must also be sealed against moisture on the outside, depending on the specific load case.
Liquid processing is particularly interesting for pond shapes, edges, transitions, and built-up connection areas, provided the substrate has been professionally prepared.
TRIPOND liquid pond liner can be combined with supplementary system products. Universal thinner is required for the primer. For a reduced drying and curing time, as well as increased resistance, processing with TRIPOND hardener for liquid pond liner is recommended.
Connections, inlets, and floor drains should be carefully sealed with TRIPOND Universal Sealing and Adhesive Compound with an expansion joint before applying liquid membrane.
Suitable accessories TRIPOND Hardener for Pond Liner Liquid
The substrate must be clean, dry, free from oil and grease, and firm and capable of bearing loads. Loose parts must be completely removed. Defects in masonry or concrete should be repaired with suitable mortar.
A primer coat is required. For 1 litre of primer coat, thoroughly mix 800 ml of TRIPOND liquid pond liner with 200 ml of universal thinner. The primer coat reduces the risk of dusty or dirty surfaces causing the liquid liner to peel off later.
After the primer, TRIPOND pond liner is applied liquidly to the prepared, dry, and dust-free substrate in three coats. Suitable methods include brushing, rolling, or airless spraying.
A second and third coat may only be applied once the previous coat has completely dried. As a rule of thumb, allow one day's drying time between coats.
U-bends, floor drains and comparable connection areas should be carefully sealed with TRIPOND Universal Sealing and Adhesive Compound with an expansion joint before coating. The liquid membrane is then brushed over this joint and the flange.
Coated pools and ponds may only be filled after the coating has completely dried. Full load-bearing capacity of the finished product is only recommended after 7 days.
