TRIPOND Pharmaceuticals: Important information regarding the discontinuation of sales<\/h1>

Aqualogistik will no longer sell TRIPOND medicines with immediate effect. The background to this is the changed legal framework in the area of animal medicines and the resulting requirements for the distribution of fish medicines.<\/p>

This decision affects all previous TRIPOND medications. The products will no longer be offered or sold via Aqualogistik.<\/p>

What does this mean for koi and pond owners?<\/h2>

For Koi and pond owners, this means that TRIPOND medications are no longer available through Aqualogistik. In cases of sick fish, unclear symptoms, or acute pond problems, an expert veterinarian should be consulted in the future.<\/p>

The key point is: ceasing sales does not mean sick fish can no longer be treated. However, the treatment of certain conditions falls more within the veterinary domain.<\/p>

Why does Aqualogistik no longer sell TRIPOND medication?<\/h2>

In the veterinary medicine sector, stricter legal requirements apply. Preparations used to treat diseases in koi and ornamental fish are particularly affected.<\/p>

Aqualogistik has therefore decided to cease the sale of its existing TRIPOND medicines. This will provide clarity for customers, dealers, and pond owners.<\/p>

We cannot reliably say at this time how the TRIPOND product range will develop in the future. As soon as there is reliable information on this, we will publish it on our website.<\/p>

Notwithstanding, TRIPOND remains an important part of our product range in the areas of pond care, water quality, and support for pond biology.<\/p>

Prevention and water quality are becoming more important<\/h2>

A stable pond biology is the most important foundation for healthy koi and ornamental fish. Good water values, sufficient oxygen, suitable filter technology and regular monitoring of water quality help to reduce stress and disease pressure in the pond.<\/p>

Many problems don't arise suddenly but develop from persistently unfavourable conditions. Therefore, water parameters, stocking density, feeding, filter performance, and pond hygiene should always be considered together.<\/p>

Example from practice<\/h3>

If koi are rubbing themselves, appear apathetic, or stop eating, you should not rush to use medication. It is advisable to first check important water parameters such as pH, KH, ammonia, nitrite, and oxygen. After that, it should be professionally determined whether the cause is a water problem, parasites, a bacterial infection, or something else.<\/p>

Which TRIPOND products will remain available?<\/h2>

Products for general pond care, water quality stabilisation or support of the filter biology are not automatically fish medicines. Such products will continue to be part of the TRIPOND range, provided they are not classified as veterinary medicinal products.<\/p>
